A/C question

I have a 85 IROC and need to recharge my a/c i hear its alot cheaper to get it converted to R-134, How much will that cost and can i do the conversion my self?

Is it a full charge or just a top off because it's low? A PROPER conversion requires replacing the accumulator, orifice tube, hoses and O rings. If you only need a pound of 12 it's cheaper to top it off with 12 and it will work better. Read some of the other posts, there is a lot of information and pro's and con's about the different methods.
