having major coolant problems!

Two days ago, I checked the coolant level in my radiator. I couldn't even see any coolant in the radiator! So I topped it off and drove it around without any problems. The next day, I checked it again and the radiator was only half-full! Today, the radiator was full, and the resuvior is at the "hot" mark(the car is cold). Does anyone know what cold be causing this fluxuation in the coolant level?

Have you checked your oil yet? If you're not seeing coolant on the ground, and your levels are getting low, it's got to be going somewhere. I had an 84 Z28 a while back that was losing it's coolant. Turned out to be a cracked head, and leaked all of the coolant into the engine. Made a hell of a mess in the oil. Good luck, and hopefully it's not too serious.
