did search: v6 rad. ok for 350?
I'm sure the topic has come up before but the search won't allow v6 as a word,
I have a radiator and electric fan off of an 86 v6 SC, I'm hoping to us it on the 350 I'll be putting in the 84 TA, I'll end up putting a 160 stat in the car, the 350 will be pretty mild, about 9:1 compresson and putting out about 250 hp.
thanks for the help guys,
Vic

IIRC the upper radiator hose is on the wrong side for a V8; could be wrong though.

No your right..The 350..and v6 are diffrent...diffrent oem numbers and everything...
91 &92 350 has it's own radiator
82-89 2.8 has it's own also..
so you cant use those.
the rest should use oem number is 3056962..but i'm not 80% sure on that..

Pretty sure the V6 unit won't handle it. My 355 makes around 300hp, and a brand new four-core V8 stock replacement rad. barely does the job when sitting in traffic or on hot days. I think I'm running a 180 tstat, I think.
