Hotter than normal

I have a leak in my radiator and i am running hotter than normal, it usaually happens when i give it gas when i am movin...would the leak in the radiator cause me to run hotter temps...it gets up to 240 sometimes but never over heats.

yes and try to get it fixed asap, because once mine leaked alittle it got bigger and losing coolant isnt good.

i got myself a nice advance auto parts radiator and been running great for 1 year +

Thanks i will get it fixed...one more question how easy is it to replace a radaitor, i did my water pump by self should i be able to do this ?

It's probably even easier than a water pump.
