Is this a problem.......????

See where my gauge is? right below 160*

It has NEVER, I mean NEVER gone above that......even in the Florida Sun while i was sitting in traffic.........

Is that a problem? Or is my cooling system just that good??

Yes i know i'm almost out of gas and my oil pressure is broken......

That is not normal, I would change the "coolant temperature sensor" on the front of the intake manifold.

I second the coolant temp sensor. You might also try tapping lightly on the gauge itself. Maybe the needle is sticking a little bit.

changing the coolant temp sensor on the front of the block won't do anything at all for you. the sensor for the guage is on the drivers side head between 1&3 i believe and has a single wire running to it. what thermostat do you have in your car? and thats hight then 160* the guage is non linear
