Electric Fans

I recently discovered a problem with my 350 TPI's dual electric fans...

The primary fan (drivers side) seems to trip on and work correctly. However, the auxilary fan (passenger side) never turns on. I have let the car get very hot before, but it still never turns on. I was told that the auxilary fan is wired differently than the primary. Unfortunantly, no one explained to me how it was wired.

Can anyone explain to me how the auxilary fan is wired and what I need to check (what relays, fuses, etc) to ensure it is working correctly?

Any info would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you.

Passenger side fan should come on at 225 degrees. Which in my opinion is way to high. If you wanted to have both fans come on just do a manual fan switch. I have one mounted on my dash... throw the switch it grounds out the wire on the temp sender (passenger side of the block) and kicks both fans on flip it off back to stock.

If I recall correctly, the passenger side fan does turn on around 238 degrees. However my problem is that when my engine gets to 238, the fan does not turn on. I was wondering what I need to check in order to fix this?

Ok... I was acouple degrees off it's still damn hot. ;-)

When I wanted to check mine I unhooked the connector on it and had a helper take a wire from + side of battery I then ground'd out the fan inserted the wire then the helper tapped the live wire on the battery to see if it spun. If it spins it's good if it doesn't it probably bad connection or motor is burnt.

From what i have heard, the passanger side fan only goes on when you are using the A/C. At least that is what happens in mine.
