Single core radiator ?
My 87 T/A has a single core radiator with the wide (an inch or so) core that is about as wide as an older 2 core. It was new when I got the car and I have only put 500 or so miles on the car since. I'd rather not replace it, but I am wondering if this is a suitable radiator for use with a performance engine(300 net HP). I haven't had the car out in the summer yet, so I do not know how it will react in the hot weather. It is just a weekend cruiser (once or twice to the track per year).
Any suggestions?

I forgot to mention that I modified the intake to a 4 point cooling system too, and bought the addapter to samich between the stat and intake. (routes coolant from back of heads to front of engine under the stat)

Re: Single core radiator ?
The stock one row alum. radiator in the 85(?) - 92 third gens works great. 300hp = no problem. Just gotta make sure fans & rest of cooling system are up to par.
