Cooling Fan Problem

Fellas:

I have a 1991 Z-28 dual fan cooling system. One fan kicks on when the A/C is turned on but that's it. Isn't there a sensor for that fan when the temp reaches a certain point? I know both fans themselves work because one kicks on with the A/C and I swapped wiring and the other fan came on with the A/C. I checked the relays on front driver side and they SEEM fine. Temp gauge works ok. Could both sensors be bad for both fans? What is left to check?

Does this control both fans? Do you know where it is on the pass side head? Is it easy to replace? Thanks

the drivers side fan works off the coolant temp sensor in front of the engine. and basically it should come on around 228

the passengers side fan works off the a/c pressure switch, fan switch in the passengers side head (between 6 & 8)

Does anyone have a picture of where the pass side temp switch ois? I think I found the drivers side. When the A/C is turned on the fan should kick in but it also should kick on when the temp goes up, correct?

No I have not fixed it yet. I ordered the front sensor from Pep Boys, waited a week, called them and they said the part never was ordered and now the factory is out of stock. Morons. I may look around and see who has the part in stock. I have checked I believe everything else and I'm left to this. I will let you know soon. Keep in touch
