stage 2 chip...160 t-stat?

Car: so many projects to little time
Engine: 350 tbi
Transmission: 700r4
stage 2 chip...160 t-stat?

i recently put a stage 2 jet chip and it recommended a 160 thermostat...i had already bought a "performance" 180 will it have made a difference if i changed to the recommended t stat... of 160...

see thats the problem with the chips u just buy, u have to use their rules. 180 is a nice overall stat and if u made a custom chip you could use that temp and still get better performance.

i would use what they ask for because they use the operating temp from a 160 which would be way lower than what a 180 will give u.
