Installed Hypertech switch - now no fan?
OK, I installed some valve cover gasket and a Hypertech fan switch. (Single fan setup)
I can't get the fan to come on. When I apply 12V to the connector from the wiring harness, I can get the fan to turn on.
Where do you think my problem lies? And can I get at this from under the car, or is the starter in the way?

At least on the dual fan setup on my 91 Formula, yes, the fan switch merely applies the ground to the relay so the second fan will kick on. The primary fan on mine is controlled by the ECM from inputs by the temp sensor on the front of the intake.
Hope this helps.....

I put the hypertech switch in water, boiled it to 200deg. and it did not ground....
So I think the switch is bad. Scary - I thought by buying a brand name this wouldn't happen...
