Anybody using Perma-Cool adjustable fan control kit?
I can't get the kit to work. I bought the 30amp relay since I have the stock dual fan setup and I installed it and my fans don't turn on.
I ran battery power to the thermostat module, I ran the yellow fan power line to the relays red supply line, then I ran the relays yellow line to the fans. That should be the correct setup. The thermostat is powered by the bettery. When the probe senses the setpoint temperature it sends power to the yellow wire (which I have connected to the relay). The relay then sends the power to the fans. Everything is ground, I didn't use AC override.
Any ideas? I posted this in electrical and no one responded so I was hoping somone here has used this setup before.
