Well, how nice

As most of you know, the maro has been overheating in traffic lately. So, I decided now was a good time to upgrade the cooling system. I bought a aluminum, racing 3 core radiator with automatic cooler built in (stock, but who cares, its there.) It doesnt have a heater provision, so I take it to the welder and have him install one. I goto put it in, and I notice the ****er is too tall. Well, proper way to fix that is cut the bottom off and reweld. Ok, alot of work, but nothing I cannot do. I take the condensor out and mark where it needs to get cut. Right then, I noticed it was time to go home. Ok, fine.

I take my cooling fans, and place them on top of the radiator core and noticed something. The fans are too wide for the core. ****. It makes the cutting/welding job easier because I dont have to worry about reinstalling them. I called Flex-a-lite and talked to tech support and told him my core measurements. He said there is no dual fan setups with a shroud for my measurements and no single fan will cool my car off. Double ****!!! He told me that I could fabricate a shroud out of sheet metal and mount two single fans in there and between the two 12" fans, I'll get 2500 CFM of air. That cost me $190 for the fans and next day shipping on my credit card. So, when I get everything, it all goes to the welder so he can make me a shroud with brackets for the fans.

Thats where I am at. I got pics of my radiator.....
