Replaced Radiator, now huge problem! HELP!
Replaced Radiator, now huge problem! HELP!
Ok, first of all I am by no means a mechanic. But money is
tight.
For the past few months, my camaro would raise in temperature,
and has ran hot 1 or 2 times before I found out it was the
hoses. Last week, the car started running hot again and
utilmately figured out it was a cracked radiator.
I bought a new one and put it in my self, but I did not consider
the transmission fluid that was in the old one. Well, from take
off, if I gun it, the transmission shifts hard and there is a
loud thumping noise. It only does this from taking off fast.
It does this in all gears. I have refilled the transmission fluid
as nessacary, and checked for leaks. All of that is fine now,
but I still have the same problem.
It is a 94 Z28 Automatic transmission.
Any help / suggestions would be greatly, GREATY
appreciated ! Thanks in advance !!!!!
