My car is running hot in traffic with A/C on. Once i reach 40+ MPH it's fine. I have come to the conclusion that it is the super crappy stock dual fan setup.

I have been looking into aftermarket dual fan setups. I found a really nice fan super by be cool:

This fan comes in the $1100 kit that Be cool sells for thirdgens which includes a radiator and other stuff and is way to much for my budget. So I am interested in purchasing just the fans.

Anyone ever install this fan setup? Post pics of your aftermarket dual fans setups and how they work.

Be Cool doesn't make fans themselfs, they re-badge other vendors fans. The fans you posted in the link look exactly like Spal fans, a ultra high performance fan company. Here's were I got mine from lowest price on the internet.

Spal part number 30100846 ($235)

John Millican,
Thanks for the link! Have you installed these fans on your car? If so how hard of an install was it, and do you have pics?

EDIT: on SPAL's Website the part number is 30102052 but on the link you sent me they list the part number as 30100846. I wonder whats that all about.

I of course have them installed on my car. They were easy for me to install although they are NOT a direct replacement. You have mounting considerations and wiring changes to make.
