I have a new water pump,160* therm,flex fan and a flushed radiator, The car runs about 180-190 but when I sit in idlle or turn it off the temp goes up and the overflow starts to leak water,suggestions?

 

so all the air is out of the system i guess.
what coolant mixture are you using?
i guess you have verified the fan turns on when just sitting at a light for awhile.

verify that the coolant overflow tank is filled up to the cold line when the engine has been off for many hours... might just have way to much in there and it has to come out because its getting alittle warmer.

what the highest temp the guage went to?
