cooling fan problem

i got a 1992 camaro with a 305 tbi. the problem is that my fan will not turn on unless the air conditioning is on. i just installed a new 180 degree thermostat and a new sensor. the fan still doesnt turn on even when the temp is around 250 degree. i was thinking about putting in a toggle switch for the fan but i dont know. please give me any possible ideas. THANX.

Theres a fan switch in the passenger side head that might be bad. Otherwise i would check the wiring on that switch.
