Riddle Me This (Dual Fan Wiring)
I currently have a clutch fan, but I'd like to swap in an OEM dual set-up. I understand that I can control one fan with a thermal switch. The second, however, is my problem: I'd like it to turn on with the air con. I've been advised that I can splice into the green wire at the compressor which will trigger the relay, but that in winter this method would be problematic since the compressor would fire up with the defroster. Could I simply put a switch in-line to the relay so that when the switch was on during the summer, the fan would come on with the air con, and with the switch off in the winter, the system would work as it does now?
Any other suggestions or advice would be appreciated--electronics are not my strong suit.

Another question has come to mind: Would wiring in the fashion I mention cause too much of a current draw and as a consequence cause a problem at the fuse box--again, electronics is not my strong suit.
