I have a 2 year old Howell aluminum Radiator 2 x 1 1/4 row's in a car that I dont even drive that much and it is leaking from the bottom inside wall where the tubes meet the tank.
I was told it cant be fixed ??
does any one know the life span of an aluminum radiator verses copper ??

 

same thing hsppened with my pos be-cool rad. very expensive lesson learned. went to napa and got a modine and been go to go ever since.

 

Was the modine aluminum or copper how many rows ??
I just installed a 3 core copper for now except for the fact that in stop in go driving even in cool weather my motor runs a lil on the hot side..and at high speed it runs hot so I know the 3 row copper with my motor set up isnt cooling enough.

 

i also use the modine in my monte with a 357...i think its a 1 or 2 row but the rows are bigger than the ones in the copper ones, and aluminum does dissipate heat much better. Go with the modine...its cheap and works great
