Temp guage wrong?

My temp guage will read at 0 for the first 15-20 minutes of driving. Then all of a sudden the guage peaks. Not gradually, but very quickly. And it won't drop. I think that I have the wrong sensor hooked up. Where is the temp sensor for the guage, and what does it look like? One wire, or two? What color wire(s)? Thanks in advance.

Driver side head, between the #1 and #3 cylinders. Single male spade terminal, green wire.

By any chance you wouldn't happen to know the part #, would you?

Found the part #, but I'm wondering if the sender on the right side is switched with the one on the left. What is the one on the right side supposed to look like? The one on the left is a single wire, but it has a connector on it. Not just a spade type either.
