Rad cap "hopping?"
ive been leaking coolant for a while now, never really bohtered where to find from, earlier today it was steaming out of the vents on the hood (looked kinda cool actually). i opened the hood and the rad cap is hopping up and down and my thermostat was makin funny noises. Just now my car preddy much over heated in a 2 min drive, it usually takes forever to get to 220degrees...i thought it just needs a new thermostat and rad cap(i finnally figued out it was leaking from the rad cap). what are ur opinions...tomorow im just gonna buy a rad cap and thermostat.

well just as an update...i attempted to take the thermostat out(where i thought it should be anyways) at the other end of the upper rad hose right under the throttle body? so one bolt comes out easy...the other ones either gone in cross threaded or its gonna snap off. so i sorta loosend that one enough to turn the housing and see the thermostat...theres nothing there but a hole where a thermostat should be. so if anyone could please tell me if the thermostat is somewhere else that would be nice. tomorow im gonna take the throttle body off and turn the bolt till it snaps and drill it out. im puttign in a 190 degree stat and a enw rad cap, and a new throttle body gasket.
thank you sorry for it bein long
