Yet another cooling fan question

The fans don't come on...I have the dual fan set up (89 Iroc)....even when I turn on the A/C none of the fans kick on....I hooked the fans up directly to the battery and they work...I changed both relays...I pulled the wire out of the pass side and grounded it to the body and heard the relays clicking but the fans did not come on....any ideas would be greatly welcomed...I'm stumped.....wtf is with these cars and thier cooling systems...I've had at least a dozen cooling issues with this POS.

I had a similiar problem with my 89 Iroc. Check to make sure both of your fans are grounded. They should both run into one wire that goes to a ground at the front of your vehicle. Since you know that your relays are good then the fact that neither fan comes on not even when you use the override ac switch means that you need to check the lines right at the fans. Hope this helps.
