Coolant Leak and Sensor question

Okay I have a few coolant leaks and I am trying to figure out why. One is leaking very slowly out one of the hoses on the oil cooler. Another one is coming from the sensor on the front of the intake and the other is coming from somewhere on the back side of the starter, I think and it is not the intake or the heads I have already checked. Now for having all these leaks is it possible that I have too much pressure in the system and it is just trying to get out wherever the weakes part is? It is going into the overflow tank just fine but was just wondering if this could be the reason or is it just a coincident that I have a couple differnt leaks.

Now for the sensor question. The coolant sensor on the intake below the throttle body is for the ECM, right? It seems to be leaking just in front of the connector. You have the threaded part going into the intake then the nut part you use to tighten it down with then the connector. It looks to be leaking where the connector and the nut part meets. Everything seems to be working just fine but was wondering what happens when this sensor goes bad? I am planning on changing this sensor but was just wondering what happens when this goes bad?

Also, do you use the same type of thread sealant you would use on the bolts for the water pump? Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
