180 thermostat =160?

Hi guys,

i have a question.
today i changed my thermostat in my engine.
old thermostat was 195...new one 180(BECOOL)

with the 195 the truck was operating at at around 200
with the new stat the gauge don't go past the 160?

is this too cold or is sometinh wrong?

Thanks Tom

Problem solved!
Today i connected my laptop with Winaldl on my truck .
There are 2 temp sensors in the engine-1 for the gauge and 1 for the ecm.
The 1 for the ecm says its running around the 180f(perfect!)
So the dashboard gauge is not working completely perfect.
