electric fan

is there any way to test my electric fan motor to see if it is spinning at full capacity? it looks and sound slow and not staying cool in general. i have checked all related cooling system parts and they seem fine, but this has me stumped.

Check the resistanve from 1 terminal to the other and see if you can compare that to one of anyone else's that worked for sure. Mine is from a 93 grand am so i dont want to throw numbers out there.

My fans read 7 to 200 ohms through the wiring from the relay. Turns out I had a burned plug in the harness and I removed it butt spliced the wires with weathertight connectors. It now reads .3 to .7 ohms and flickers open when I spin the fan. This can't be good but they are working. And both fans read the same. I had a spare set of fans laying around from a parts car I bought and they were both reading open so they must be junk.
