AC delete, SMOG delete, remove heater hoses, etc.

Who has installed an AC delete pulley, SMOG delete pulley, and removed their heater hoses, etc?

1.) I'm trying to find out what you did with all the unused wires...did you cut them? I want to keep my engine compartment clean from looking cluttered.

2. ) Since I removed the heater hoses and lines...does anyone know if this will cause a problem since I'm not using the oil cooler under the oil filter?

3.) Did anyone run into any problems with their engine running properly since the SMOG was removed? I'm keeping the 02 sensor hooked up, but I pulled the rest, removed the A.I.R. sys, plugged the ports on the exhaust manifolds and cut/welded the line going to the Cat.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Keep the oil cooler man it won't hurt...... Just did the very same thing to my 89 5.7 GTA. Look up A/C Delete in the search engine as all the posts were from about May, 2005 and on.
The delete pulleys are no problem...You'll have to get rid of all the A/C garbage which means a 1LE heater box which you can find out there..... I'll try to post a pic if I can. Hope it shows what ya need. By the way you can cut back the wires after everything else is hooked up. Didn't throw a single code and it's been finished for a couple of weeks now. The pics are when I had the wires tie-straped out of the way

I'm not using the oil cooler because I'm getting rid of the heater, heater hoses, etc., the hoses run to the cooler. I'm only going to use the car for the track (most likely) because it probably won't pass emissions testing with all the SMOG/AIR lines removed from the car. I already mounted the AC delete pulley and the SMOG delete pulley. I also fabricated an AC cover and removed the blower assy (just used the cover to hind the large vent holes in the firewall).

Thanks for the pics and the inputs.
