A/C system, cooling fans

Car info. 89' 350cid, dual electric fans.

My brother-in-law was visiting for a couple of months and I let him drive the car. A/C compressor was locking up, since he is fairly good with older cars, he offer to replace it (I bought the new compressor). Now he has left and I have been moving the car around the driveway, not really driving it.

I've noticed a few things. Both fans are allways on even when it is a cold start in the morning and the A/C is off. Both fans never turn off, peroid. One of the kickers is that the new A/C compressor only has one connector on it at the back of the clutch. There is a second connector in the wiring harness that has no place to go. Where is the second connector to goto? Did he replace it with the wrong compressor?

Thanks.
