what therm housing

what is a good non leaky thermostat houseing to get? my chrome orileys one has never sealed and its time to trash it. what does every one get? my stock one is gross and ugly, no thanks.

Chrome is fine (I guess if you're into that kind of thing). Just sand/grind/polish down the chrome on the sealing surface area. Chrome covered sealing surfaces never have been good at sealing part.

I prefer full gaskets opposed to the O-ring design as well.

Summit sells some water necks, might want to take a look there. Moroso has a standard alum version IIRC for about $30.
