Coolant Temperature

Coolant Temperature

It seems to take forever for my coolant temperature to go up while the engine is idling. Does this mean I may need a new thermostat? Also, how long does it take for your coolant temp to increase while idling?

At idle, the least amount of heat is generated by combustion. Even longer if it's cold.
