cooling fan not coming on

Car: 87 firebird
Engine: 2.8 fuel injection(stock)
Transmission: stock
cooling fan not coming on
I own a 1987 firebird and the cooling fan isnt coming on. the engine is a 2.8 V6. The fan is good! Because we tested it> Where is the temp sensor located and where is the fan switch located??
