Air Control Assembly Installed, ONLY HOT AIR COMES OUT!!?

Alright as you all know I had a problem with the air control switch on my air control assembly so I bidded on e-bay and bought a mint condition 3rd gen air control http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I installed it right now and connected all the plugs where they are supposed to be and connected that thin steel wire that is under the assembly, connected that to that thing that looks like a hook (broke the light socket i'll get a new one at the junkyard) anyways I installed everything correctly and now the only things that work are the speeds and the air only comes out through the defroster and bottom vents what gives??????? is there some sort of special way of doing it?
