? about prestone anti freeze.
prestone antifreeze full strength, why is it so light, antifreeze used to be dark green this stuff is almost clear. I see they have the pre mix stuff almost every where, but I brought the full strength thinking it would be dark green.and then when you mix it 50/50 with it it gets real light. Is this stuff any good? can I mix it with other anti freeze? is it safe for aluminum? what are you thoughts on it?

I think it's different so it can be mixed with dex-cool. The old stuff was incompatable with dex-cool, and I've seen a couple of commericals saying the new Prestone is compatable with any coolant, green, orange, or red.

Is this stuff pretty decent stuff? is there better stuff that can be picked up local? thanks
I just used it in my Z and my quad, the Z I don't use much and it sits alot so i just want to make sure it is protected. And the quad is mostlyu aluminum so i don't want to ruin that. I just can't get over how light it is, it is almost clear.
