Aluminum Radiator corrosion?
I read somewhere that if you use an aluminum radiator with an iron block, it will cause the radiator to corrode more quickly. I'd like to use aluminum due to weight and supposedly better cooling, but I don't want to have to replace it sooner than a brass radiator. I see Summit has a direct fit for $244.88. Not bad.
My question is does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone had an aluminum rad. with an iron block for an extended time, without problems?

I've personally never heard that, but if I remember correctly all the 4th gen camaros used aluminum radiators, and all the v-6's and lt1's were cast iron blocks.
also, autozone sells a direct-fit aluminum radiator as well as a 3-core copper for about 120 bucks each.
the 3-core will cool your car much better, but I personally went with the aluminum because it'll still cool better than stock(although not much), and it's a few pounds lighter.
I've only had my aluminum radiator for about a month though, so I couldn't tell you about long term corrosion.
