I JUST GOT A 350 PUT IN MY IROC AND I REPLACED ALL OF THE SENSORS, CTS, TEMP SENDER AND NOW MY GAUGE IS PEGGED OUT AND WONT COME DOWN. I JUST WANT IT TO WORK UNTIL I GET AN AFTERMARKET SET. WE WERE THINKING IT WAS A GROUND. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.

 

sometimes they will do that when you start the car and it will jam up there.If you give it nudge it will come back down and work ok.I spent the afternoon fixing that very thing in my car today.Find some way to prevent the needle from going beyond a certain point to where it catches on something and jams.I just took a pair of needle nose pliers and bent the very outer edge of the metal gauge face(outside of where you can see with the bezel on)upwards till the needle hits that and can go no further and prevents it from wedging itself against something farther up.But the first thing is to take all the bezels off and see where the needle is sticking.I must say that even when these gauges are working they are so damned innacurate they are almost useless anyway.
