Water Pump and Pulley

Hey Folks,

I bought a new water pump but I'm not sure if its a reverse flow or not. I notice that the pump does not have an arrow pointing in the direction of coolant flow and my old pump does. I have a serpentine belt setup. How would I be able to tell. I just checked the part number online and it does say that its a reverse rotation pump and the picture has the little arrow pointing in the direction of the coolant flow, but my pump does not include this arrow. Would the parts store sell me the wrong pump even though its the right fit?

Also, what direction do I turn the bolts to remove the pulley on the old pump I had installed. I am turning the normal way that you would remove and other bolt. Am I turning the right way? I cannot seem to get the bolts to budge. Any ideas on how to get them removed? I have continued to soak them in liquid wrench but no luck.

Thanks,
Matt

Nevermind guys, I got it all worked out. Just took alot of penetrant and a firm grip. The pump works correctly!

Thanks,
