Best place to look for dual fans...

Well the single fan doesnt work the best with the LS1 now that its starting to get hot around here and I need to step it up to dual fans, but I havent seen too many around. Most of the ones on here seem to be incomplete, and ebay doesnt have any. I also checked the other third gen websites and havent seen much. I still need to try a junkyard, but thats really a crap shoot. Ive thought about universals off of summit, but I dont want to spend 200 bucks on some fans. Anyone one know a good place to find dual fans for our cars?

If you can't find a 3rd Gen dual fan setup then consider one from a 4th Gen.From what I've read it is very close in physical size and mounts with few modifications. The bonus on using a 4th Gen setup is they are made as an assembly with a shroud. That's the one thing I'm thinking of fabricating for the dual fans on my '83.I don't have any cooling problems but a shroud would be added insurance and a little more piece of mind.

Our dual fans are not that great. I have heard of people getting the two speed fan out of a 4.6 thunderbird and they are around 4000 cfm. I have factory dual fans and my car runs hot. Our fans are 1300 cfm.

I have the 4.6 2-speed fan, works great (not 4000CFM though, maybe 2500)

ford tarus and the lincoln "mark viii" cars also have some really nice fans...they draw a lot of current so use a decent sized relay or a DC controls unit.
