I have a 92 camaro rs 305 tbi. I bought it used` from a family member and not sure really what all they did. There is a heater bypass valve some extra wires Im not sure what they go too. He supposedly rebuilt the engine and tranny. Def the tranny has a shift kit cause man it shifts hard in first. Before this engine he had a 400 sb he raced. Anyway i have the ever treaded overheating problem either in town or highway. It runs about 235-240.It has new hoses,new thermostat,new cap,new radiator and from what I can tell the fan comes on from the time I start the care. It also has a good from air dam. When my wife drives it she says it never goes above 200 and every timne I drive it it runs hot. Sometimes` I wonder what see is loooking at. Lol. I am also going by an aftermarket temp gauge. The guy at the parts store said to start the engine and mcheck engine flow. Dont know what Im looking for but it seemed even not to fast and not to slow. Some help
