How messed up does an airdam have to be to create heating problems? I;ve always had heating problems but didnt think my airdam was that bad... intill i looked at a new one. Mine is like an inch shorter from rubbing and bent back. That should cause a problem right? I'll try to post pics.

my lg4 had no air damn at all, and cooled fine.

I think a hot 383 would create more heat, so you need more cooling. The functioning air damn would be a neccessity, along with other upgrades.

I'd guess your air damn is still ok to use.

Does it overheat while driving down the highway? Sitting in traffic? What kind of fan(s) do you have?

Well... The vehical overheats no matter what i do. Everything is brand new. Wheather its running the dual fans on all the time.. To no thermostat, to 180 thermo to a 190., Having one big fan. So this is the last resort. I'm getting the air dam installed and than dual bigger fans. Does anyone know how much the factory dual fans flow? Oh yea.. also have a Becool radiator

I have been running without an airdam with a hot wired fan for a couple months now and my car runs just below the 220 mark under ALL conditions. Sometimes 220 dead on if its a hot day and I sit in traffic. I have a new one on the way, i'm curious to see the difference it makes.
