Broken Dual Elec Fan Support...Ideas?

In the process of converting my 85 305 mech. fan to a dual elec off a 87 TPI...while storing my newly aquired fans at work somebody broke the eyelet off of one of the three supports on one of the fans (nobody ever confessed to it either )...question is anyone ever come up with something to screw to it and make it work? or any ideas? and no I dont have the pieces to epoxy them back together...those mysteriously dissappared just like the culprit

any pic of the broken part?
a piece of aluminum can always be drilled or bent to fix the problem.
if your good at it, it might even look decent.

I broke mine by mistake, when I was putting mine back in. The eye was intact, but the mounting hole wasn't. I just used a zip-tie. Holds fine so far, "car still being built" but when I turn them on and off, nothing moves. It you are really worried, then drill holes in both the braket and the arm and use a piece of metal like stated above. But for a quick or even cheepo premantent fix, the sip-tie should be just fine.

Well I used JB weld and glued all the pieces back together but that lasted about 2 days, now its held by zip ties which is fine...although the car was t-boned a few weeks back now so it was all kind of pointless...

heres a link to the pics of the car...still undecided if I'm gonna fix it or not
