LS1 fans and shroud swap into a 1992 L98, good idea?

LS1 fans and shroud swap into a 1992 L98, good idea?

Is this an improvement over stock and is it relatively simple swap??

The radiator is smaller in width than the standard 3rd gen radiator, and you will have to fabricate a custom top piece that holds the radiator in place. When I tried a quick mockup with a LS1 radiator/fan setup, the fans hit the steering box, so I abandoned the idea, as I don't think that it is any better in cooling than the standard dual fan 3rd gen setup.

a lil work and you can get them in there without issues.
spent a few hours with good results.
i used a factory lt1 top shroud(cut to all hell), as the ls1 version looks like crap, so did the 3rd gen.
it almost looks factory.
