A/C Repair!
whats up everybody? nothin much here trying to stay cool, its hard with no a/c lol. So I took it to a shop and they said I need Evaporator Core, Mnaifold line resealed, Accumulator, and orfice tube. Well $700 is way to rich for my blood right now heh. So im gonna make a little trip out to the junkyard, try to pick some off some beat up broken old camaros.
I need to know the following.
Where is all of the following located: Evaporator Core, Accumulator, and Orfice tube.
What tools will I need to remove these items! Any special things needed to do before removal. And of coure tricks for removal!
How long will this porcedure take? Im going right when they open so ill have about 4 hrs.
Appreciate it guys hope to hear something soon.

I would just go buy either remaned, or new, I wouldnt trust any jyard a/c stuff unless it was hard lines (metal lines, a shop i went to striped the hell out of my lines)

Well I did find a couple of camaros, one still had the Evaporator Core, I took it out its easier than I thought. The one I took out was for an 82, the line running off the core is a little different so I just ordered a new one. Shuold be in sometime this week. I can tell that it is leaking now. I feel it, plus hear it coming from the core. Im ordered me a new core, accumulator, orfice tube, and ill get me some new O-rings to put in there. Thanks!
