overflow cap

I was wondering if it matters if the cap for the overflow is missing? Like does it make that much of a difference aside from it preventing it from spilling?

A boneyard would probably give you one. They're two or three bucks new.

More likely debris of various kinds, which, of course, wouldn't be wonderful. Buy a cap (IIRC, they're vented), and quit being such a tight butt .

Just use a rubber band and some saran wrap (use your imagination) until you can get a new cap. And how did you lose the old one anyway?

Ease up. All in fun (note the grinning face at the end of my statement). Not really any flames on this site.

I didn't have a cap when I first got the car, so we just cut out a chunk out of a garbage bag and zip-tied that bitch on!
