fan relay. yes I searched.
all right, Im going nutso here. I have a 89 RS with 2.8 and SINGLE electric fan. I am trying to wire a switch into my relay so that I can turn on my fan when I want to, but I am getting conflicting info from searching here. I know that I need to splice the green with white strip wire and put it to a switch and then ground, but I am not sure which relay it is. On the firewall by the brake booster there are 3 relays. all with a Green with White stripe wire to them. I also have a relay on my passenger side radiator core support. I have searched and seems that different people say it is either the Relay on the core support I need, or it is the one closest to the brake booster I need. I just want to know which one!
My other option which I really dont want to do is to cut the two wires off teh fan motor and wire 12V straight to the fan through a switched relay. But I really dont want to start hacking like that on my harness. I still want to be able to maintain factory running for the winter.
Could some one PLEASE post a pic with the proper relay circled or something.
Thanks you and sorry for my friggin stoopidity.

The relay you're looking for is the one in the left lower corner of this schematic.
You want to tap your switch into the green/white wire on the relay that has the following FOUR wires going into it:
green/white
brown
red (thicker)
black/red (thicker)
Hope this helps!
