passenger side head fan switch sensor

Anyone ran into issues with this sensor and/or wire/plug getting a wee touch to hot? Are you running headers or manifolds?

What all did you do to remedy the problem?

I use heat wraps that were marketed for spark plug wires to cover up that fan switch wire and connector, in an attempt to prevent anything from melting. No problems with the stock manifolds but when I installed headers I ran into problems. Did the same thing with my 02 sensor wire, as well as some other wires under there.
