ditch the oil cooler or not. need opinions
I just installed Hooker LTs and my factory oil cooler will not fit now. I can either ditch it all togehter or somehow buy an aftermarktet one and see if it fits. Do I really need one on a street car? I would prefer one for peace of mind but if some you more experienced guys think its a waste of money then please let me know. Also, how do those aftermarket ones pump oil to the external cooler? Wouldnt you need some sort of little pump or something to get the oil to go from the sandwich adapter to the cooler and then back to the adatper again? or does the oil just run through the lines from the adapter on its own?

The oil through the cooler is pressurized by the pump, so it moves just fine on its own.

Oil Cooler
The factory oil cooler in our cars is a water to oil cooler
and not real efficient. Especially sandwiched between
the oil filter and the block. Probably better at heating
the oil in cold weather.
Unless your roadracing or running hard for a time in
a hot climate I'd dump it if causing space problems.
I dumped mine and went to a B&M cooler with the TD
adapter and stainless lines but (Only) because street show car.
