im having a bit of trouble figuring out if my electric fan relay is bad, or if the wiring is just messed up, because the previous owner decided to mess with wiring for alot of things under the hood, as well as for the electric seat, if anyone has a picture of what wires are supossed to be coming out of the relay going to the fan, it would be very helpful, because it looks like it supposed to have four wires but it only has three. the fan does work, because when you turn on the ac, the fan cuts on.

mine only has a red/black one that runs from the fan to the relay, a red one, and i dont remember the color of the other one.
but why would the fan work when the AC cuts on?

 

electric fans are supposed to kick on with the AC
