Couple of questions on non-A/C heater box
I recently found a non-A/C heater box from a junkyard. It was cheap, but theres a reason. The car it was in had been in a nice right side collision. Also, one of the bolts was rusted and turning inside of the car so I had to rip that bolt out of the firewall (which bent the heater box up a bit). I pounded out all of the dents using fire and force but the blowtorch burned off all of the weather stripping material.
My first question is, does anyone know where I can get that weatherstripping? Or maybe adhesive strips of it that I can cut down to size.
My second question deals with wiring; could I just use the block of 3 resistors that the A/C had instead of the 2 that are on the heater box? I still have the A/C control pannel and intend on keeping it so I would have all of the fan speeds. Plus, I wouldn't have to hack any wires.

You can get adhesive backed weather strip at home depot. I would re-use the a/c resistor and your existing wiring with the new heater box; the resistor will bolt right in. The blower motors will not swap.

Wow, I didn't even think of home depot. Thats what I figured I could do for the resistor, thanks a lot.
