My single fan on my '89 305 TBI quit working. I know it's the fan because it doesn't turn on even with the a/c turned on. This is the 3rd fan that's been on the car:
1. Original fan
2. 1986 2.8 Firebird fan---lasted 2 months
3. 1991 3.1 Firebird fan---lasted 1 1/2 months

Am I simply using up the little life left in these fans or am I burning them up faster than I should be? Both Firebirds had close to 200k and didn't have much cash at the time for a new one. I'm figuring a new single fan from Autozone will do the trick, but really just wanted to see if this sounds like "normal" usage for old parts.
