305 TPI connection diagram for heater diverter valve
I have an 86 Camaro IROC TPI that was bought used. I didn't realize it at the time but the heater diverter valve had been removed. I am not sure how important this valve is but I thought I would buy a used one and install it. Does anyone have a connection diagram for the valve? Which valve connection goes to what? What does the vacuum line connect to?
Thanks

vacuum line should connect to the valve if I remember right.. mine always leak after about a year or two... The top heater line out of the heater core goes to the top of the valve, bottom to the bottom and the front comes off the radiator on the psngr side..

Thanks for the feedback. Were does the vacuum tube go on the other end? I understand it connects to the diverter valve but what controls the diverter valve. It must go to something under the dash and sense when heat is called for.

It connects to the red/blue temp selector... Your hvac system is vacuum operated...
