Best Coolant to use?
What is the best coolant type/brand to use to run as cool as possible?
I don't drive my IROC in the cold so I don't care about the antifreeze side.
Thanks!!!

They are all the same. I run Peak or Prestone. You could just run water if you want. But coolant lubricates the seals on your pump. So I stick with the two above.

if you run just water your block will rust and or crack. ethelene glycol (antifreeze) is designed to reduce the freezing level of water and to prevent it from rusting components. if you have a steel block then you need to run the green stuff, it fights cast iron rust. that yellow or orange stuff is designed for aluminum blocks, it prevents oxidation. i agree with nelapse, peak or prestone.

I thought there was some performance or "Race" type coolants out there that drop your operating temps by 20+ dergrees.
In Motocross we have some called Engine Ice that runs cooler than regular antifreeze. Just wondered if there was an automotive coolant equivalent.
