Overheating and no heat blowing?!
Ok, this isnt in my camaro, but the people at the s10 board suck so here is my problem.
it got to around -10 last night and I cant believe that this isnt at least partly responsible for the problems. The truck started reluctantly today and I left is idling to warm up for about 15 minutes. When i came back out to the truck, it was running pretty hot and the heat was blowing cold! I figured if I got it on on the road moving that I could bring the temp down but it just got hotter! my over flow bottle boiled over and I pulled over and let it cool down then i drove home. Heater core?

Sounds like the coolant froze up. Did you happen to check the upper and lower radiator hoses? Were they both warm?

Best bet is to flush the whole system and make sure you have a solid 50/50 mix, sounds like you had a bit more water than coolant. If it gets cold again, which it will here around Chicago, you will end up with a cracked block.
